About the role

We are seeking a highly capable Site Engineer/Project Co-ordinator to join our team at Foredeck Constructions' in Sydney, NSW. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and coordination of construction projects, ensuring their successful and timely delivery.

What you'll be doing

Providing engineering expertise and technical support to the construction team

Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets

Monitoring project progress and identifying and resolving any issues or risks

Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration

Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards

Conducting site inspections and managing quality control processes

Preparing progress reports and presentations for management and clients

What we're looking for

Relevant local tertiary qualification in engineering or construction management

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar site engineer/project coordinator role within the construction industry

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders

Proficiency in project management software and tools

Thorough understanding of construction processes, methods, and regulations

A demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
