Senior Associate – IP and Technology

A national law firm with a modern approach and strong client base is seeking a Senior Associate to join its busy and growing IP and Technology practice in Brisbane.
This is a hands-on role offering high-quality work across a broad range of advisory, commercial and disputes matters in IP, IT and privacy.

The Opportunity
You’ll work closely with senior lawyers and partners on matters including:

• Trademark and design protection, prosecution and portfolio management
• IP commercialisation, licensing and brand strategy
• Disputes involving copyright, trademarks, confidentiality and misleading conduct
• Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements involving IP and technology
• Advising on privacy, data protection and IT contracts
• IP due diligence for corporate transactions

About You
We’re looking for a lawyer with 6–8 years’ post-admission experience across IP and technology law, ideally from a recognised practice. You’ll bring:

• Strong technical skills and commercial acumen
• Experience in both advisory and contentious IP matters
• A collaborative and proactive working style
• Confidence dealing directly with clients
