About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Refrigeration Mechanic to support our defence client on their maintenance program.

Candidates must be flexible and available for shift work and overtime as required. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-performing team in the defence sector.

Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repair of refrigeration systems in line with CCSM program requirements

Support broader mechanical maintenance tasks as needed

Ensure all work complies with relevant safety and quality standards

Contribute to team-based project outcomes, including after-hours or shift-based operations

Requirements

Trade qualification as a Refrigeration Mechanic (essential)

Dual trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter and Refrigeration Mechanic is highly desirable

Availability for shift work and overtime when required

Previous submarine experience is highly regarded

Strong commitment to safety and defence-related compliance

Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative on technical tasks
