ScoliCare is a leading provider of custom Scoliosis braces and are now expanding our business into manufacturing 3D printed braces.

With our new manufacturing facility in Carlton, we are expanding our team to include a skilled Manufacturing Technician to support our production processes.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Manufacturing Technician to join our team. Initially, starting at 10-15 hours per week, with the view to increasing hours as production expands.

This role involves post-processing 3D printed braces, operating 3D printers, and managing packing and dispatch operations. The ideal candidate will have a trade background, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with both manual tools and digital technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Post-process 3D printed braces, including cleaning, sanding, polishing, and applying finishes to ensure high-quality standards.

Operate and maintain 3D printers & laser cutter, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.

Pack and dispatch finished products, ensuring accurate labelling and timely delivery.

Maintain inventory of materials and supplies, ordering as necessary.

Adhere to safety and operational guidelines and procedures

Requirements:

Trade experience in any field using hand tools.

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Experience with 3D printing technologies and post-processing techniques would be beneficial.

Experience with medical or orthotic devices is also an advantage.

Own vehicle for dispatch of products to delivery partner as necessary.
