Who are we?

Canyon Solar's mission is to rapidly decarbonise the planet by transforming commercial car parks into renewable energy and electric vehicle charging hubs. Our vision is a sustainable planet where individuals and companies have access to affordable, reliable, zero emissions energy.

We have developed the world's first modular solar canopy system. This allows us to reduce the installation time, the installation cost, and reduce the risk of solar canopies for our clients.

All of our solar canopies for the Australian market are manufactured at our facility in Braemar, NSW. Our manufacturing capability is a core pillar of our business and a key competitive advantage. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and productive environment that fosters innovation and problem solving.

We are entering a high growth phase as we transition from a start-up to a scale-up. This role provides an exciting opportunity to grow with the company as we look to build a world class team.

Responsibilities:

Be part of both the production and site installation team, providing a mix of factory and site based work .

Operate and maintain assembly equipment, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and contribute to a positive work culture.

Embrace a fast-paced environment and bring energy and enthusiasm to every task.

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment with emphasis on Workplace safety. Promote a culture of safety awareness, ability to identify potential safety hazards and proactively contribute to the improvement of safety practices.

Undertake additional responsibilities within your skill set and capabilities as required.

Qualifications and Licenses:

No prior experience necessary – we are looking for individuals with a passion for learning and a can-do attitude.

Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.

Adaptable and excited about contributing ideas in a collaborative setting.

Enthusiastic about working in a vibrant and energetic work environment.

A forklift licence and other tickets such as EWP, First Aid etc are desirable but not required.

White card required or willingness to obtain one.
