Job Position
Greenlands Equipment is seeking a skilled and experienced Pump Technician/Dewatering Technician to join our burgeoning site installation team. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge dewatering systems, providing vital water management solutions for mining projects. The role is essential for maintaining and expanding operations due to increased contracts and the candidate’s unique qualifications, filling a pressing gap.
This full-time, permanent position includes the potential for career growth within our business. Australian candidates and those with permanent working rights, transferable international experience and advanced expertise in dewatering technologies are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble, install, and maintain bore pump systems and HDPE pipelines to support dewatering and water transfer systems.
Perform site-based and workshop-based tasks, including contributing to manufacturing and maintaining pump systems.
Conduct system testing and commissioning for open-pit and underground mine sites, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimise downtime.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver customised water management solutions for diverse mining projects.
Work Schedule
Approximately 30% of The workshop work is Perth-based, and 70% is site-based.
Candidate Requirements
While not essential, candidates with the following experience will be prioritised:
Installation and maintenance of bore field headworks, bore pump systems, and HDPE pipelines.
Expertise in dewatering pump sets and water transfer systems.
Proven ability to design and implement efficient dewatering solutions for mining or agricultural settings.
Candidates must possess or be willing to obtain the following licenses and tickets (funded by Greenlands Equipment if necessary):
Poly welding ticket
HR Licence
Telehandler or Skid Steer operator ticket
Skills and Attributes
Advanced technical knowledge in dewatering systems and HDPE pipeline assembly.
Commitment to safety, attention to detail, and high-quality standards.
Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
