Beneath the buzz of the Beaumont Beer Garden in Fortitude Valley, something legendary is stirring. birdees is back!

Once the heart of Brisbane’s nightlife and a legendary stopover on the global backpacker circuit where the world’s wanderers met Brisbane’s coolest, where stories were swapped over schooners, dance floors pulsed with untamed energy, and mates became family, birdees is returning with a fresh chapter. And this time, she's all grown up, and boasts a multi-million dollar makeover!

The new birdees tips its cap to its raucous, rowdy roots but steps forward with sophistication. Expect the unexpected, but the same cool soul that earned birdees a place in Brisbane’s collective memory.

Because the walls remember. The locals remember. And now, birdees is ready to make new memories.

Carved into the bones of an old factory at 608 Ann Street, the place has stories that span generations. Oh, if her walls could talk, but it’s probably better they don’t!

Tucked beneath the newly opened Beaumont Beer Garden, birdees reopens on June 27.
