About the Role
We’re a passionate, creative, and collaborative team looking for a dedicated Ecommerce Account Manager to oversee and grow our online marketplace and dropshipping channels. This full-time position will be responsible for managing relationships with key marketplace partners (such as Amazon, eBay) and dropshipping vendors, optimizing product listings, ensuring smooth order fulfillment, and driving sales growth through these channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing accounts in a fast-paced online environment.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for online marketplace and dropship channel partners.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key marketplace platforms and dropshipping vendors.
Monitor account health and performance across all channels, ensuring compliance with marketplace policies and best practices.
Optimise product listings to improve visibility, sales and customer experience.
Manage pricing strategies, promotions, and inventory levels to ensure competitive positioning.
Analyse product performance and make data-driven recommendations to enhance listings.
Sales and Business Growth:
Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth on online marketplaces.
Monitor and analyse key sales performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions to increase conversion rates and revenue.
Identify opportunities to expand into new marketplaces or enhance current operations.
Collaborate with marketing team to create and execute campaigns across multiple platforms
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor strategies, and marketplace algorithm changes.
Customer First:
Oversee and collaborate with Customer Service Manager to ensure customer inquiries, issues, and feedback related to online marketplace and dropshipping products are addressed.
Ensure customer satisfaction through timely resolutions and maintaining high seller ratings.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in e-commerce, account management, or online retail, with a focus on online marketplaces and/or dropshipping.
Proven experience with major online marketplace platforms such as Amazon, eBay or similar.
Knowledge of dropshipping operations and supply chain management.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships with marketplace partners and internal teams.
Proficiency with e-commerce platforms, product listing tools, and order management systems (e.g., Amazon Seller Central, eBay Seller etc.).
Strong project management and organisational skills with attention to detail.
