The Role:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Carpentry Trainer and Assessor to join our dynamic team on a casual or contractor basis. This role involves delivering engaging and effective training sessions, assessing student competencies, and ensuring compliance with training and assessment standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver training and assessment for carpentry qualifications, specifically Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220), in line with the national training package.
Your responsibilities will also include:
Deliver quality training aligned with industry requirements and expectations.
Work together with our team to conduct a training needs analysis, customised training for classroom-based training, and workplace training for individuals and small groups.
The ability to review, write, and re-design the structure and content of learning and training resources.
Requirements:
Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning;
Relevant qualifications in Carpentry (e.g., Certificate III in Carpentry or higher).
Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40122 upgrade).
Proven industry experience in carpentry.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on carpentry industry experience, with demonstrable commercial and residential project work
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
LLN TAELLN411 (or its successor) or TAELLN401A
Working with Children Check;
VIT Registration (Preferrable)
Current Police Check: within the last 12 months;
Ability to complete training documentation in line with Frontier's policies and procedures.
Minimum 3 years' experience conducting competency-based assessments in an RTO environment, including RPL assessments
Right to work in Australia
Current White Card (Construction Induction Card)
Trade certification recognised by Australian authorities
