Southern Stars Air Conditioning & Electrical Caboolture is seeking an Experienced Air Conditioning Installation Technician to join our team!

Southern Stars Air Conditioning and Electrical is a family-owned company specialising in air conditioning and electrical installation and repairs for new and existing domestic applications. Since starting from a single-car garage in 2009, Southern Stars has become recognised as an industry leader in the Air Conditioning and Electrical fields.

Our air conditioning team has an attention-to-detail focus on new and existing domestic installations, breakdowns, and services. The advertised position is based in Caboolture and servicing the surrounding areas. However, we also have branches in Toowoomba & Ipswich offering a larger support team.

Reliable and punctual

Ability to work as part of a team

Strong communication skills with Builders, customers, and teammates

Energetic with a strong work ethic

Experience in ducted air conditioning installations

Experience in Diagnosing and servicing AC systems also an advantage

Ability to work with a young and fast-paced team

Ability to quickly adapt and learn new skills

The applicant would have the following qualifications:

Certificate III Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent) is preferred but not required.

3rd & 4thyr Apprentices are also encouraged to apply.

ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence

Restricted Electrical Licence if Qualified

Queensland Construction White Card

Current Drivers Licence

Current CPR/LVR Certificate

Primary Responsibilities

Installation of split & ducted Air Conditioning systems

Breakdown and servicing of Air Conditioning systems

Warranty repairs on Fujitsu & Daikin systems.

Mentor and train apprentices
