The Roles

Podiatrist taking on a growing list of community clients in a variety of settings including residential homes, retirement villages, and residential aged care facilities.

Job Description

Demonstrate Valens Care core values

Assessment of various case loads including comprehensive assessment of the foot including circulation, pressure risks, deformities, nail health and general foot health.

Treatment of various medical and surgical conditions of the foot such as general foot care, ingrown toenail surgeries, diabetic ulcers, orthotics and biomechanical assessments

Liaise with the clients and the funding organisation to discuss assessed needs promptly, including report preparation where required such as for clients on Home Care Package.

Liaise with families, specialist services and other stakeholders as appropriate

Punctuality with all scheduled appointments

To be Considered

Full AHPRA registration as a Podiatrist

Current working rights in Australia

Certificate of currency for Professional Indemnity Insurance.

A current driver’s licence and access to a reliable, registered and insured vehicle

COVID-19 vaccination certificate

Current Australian Police Check.
