Scoot is a growing private practice that’s all about helping little people thrive — from newborns through to teens — while creating a supportive work environment that allows you to thrive too. We’re currently looking for a part-time clinician who's passionate about working with children to join our friendly team, with the scope to increase hours as we grow.

Scoot is an independent company currently based within the premises of a large private practice. The practice is home to many disciplines including physiotherapy, osteopathy, podiatry, and pelvic floor physiotherapy (with psychology starting soon). Scoot prides itself on creating partnerships with allied health and community members and is always looking to collaborate to achieve the best outcomes possible for the children and families we help.

👣 Room to Grow – Start part-time and scale your hours as we grow together. The majority of hours will be completed in our clinic setting, with the use of community visits (school, kinder, home, park) if the family need more location/context specific help. Whether you're looking for flexibility or a longer-term career path in paediatrics, there’s a place for you here.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Key Criteria

- AHPRA registered physiotherapist (General Registration)
- Minimum 2 years physiotherapy experience
- Excellent communication skills with children, families and colleagues
- Passion for working in paediatrics
- Growth mindset and willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- A proactive mindset and desire to contribute to clinic growth and community outcomes

⭐ Preferred Experience

- Experience working with children aged 0–16 in a clinical setting (private practice, hospital or community-based welcome)
- Familiarity with common paediatric conditions including developmental delay, neurological conditions, orthopaedic presentations and gross motor difficulties
- Confidence in building rapport with children of all ages and tailoring interventions to meet individual needs
