Working Hours:
Wednesday - 10.00am to 7.00pm
Thursday - 10.00am to 8.00pm
Salon Hours
Tuesday - 10.00am to 8.00pm
Wednesday - 10am to 7.00pm
Thursday - 10.00am to 8.00pm
Friday - 9.00am to 5.00pm
Saturday - 9:00am to 3:30pm (once a fortnight)
Location: Bombshell Hair - Grazier Lane Belconnen
Bombshell Hair is currently seeking a friendly and professional individual to join our hairdressing salon as our Front of House/Enterprise Coordinator.
This part-time position offers a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and creative environment, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support, to our Director, salon stylist & other enterprise brands.
As the salon Front of House/Enterprise coordinator, you are the first Bombshell Hair staff member that our clients, potential clients and suppliers see when they enter our space; as such you must embody our brand.
Your personality, voice, vibe, presentation and actions must reflect the Bombshell Hair brand and culture.
Responsibilities:
Front of house duties
Greet, welcome & seat clients in a warm and friendly manner
Manage salon appointments and ensure they are accurately scheduled manage via the booking system
Answer phone calls, emails, social media messages and other inquiries promptly and professionally
Assist clients in booking appointments and provide them with relevant information about our services
rebook clients and promote recurring and new bookings and client retention
Collaborate with the salon team to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experience
Handle client concerns or complaints with tact and professionalism
Perform general administrative tasks as assigned
Maintain a clean and organized reception area
handle point of sale transactions (cash and EFTPOS) for sales of retail products, salon services, fund raising initiatives and business initiatives
maintain a neat and professional appearance
Enterprise Coordinator Duties:
Assist the Director with diary management and administrative tasks as required for all brands
Coordinating staff rosters and support the stylist team with time management to achieve best client / stylist / salon outcomes
Develop and implement systems and processes (process manuals and guides etc) to ensure best practice salon standards and performance are met
Content development / maintenance of the various Bombshell Hair & other brands social media and website accounts keeping them relevant and contemporary to the businesses
video and photographic capture of behind-the-scenes moments for stylists and business ventures to enhance the brand of the team and salon (and enterprises) with focus on personality and reflection on our unique brand voice
Create graphic artworks for Bombshell Hair using Canva
Participate in the Leadership Team meetings and strategic planning events
Take forward and/or oversight initiatives that reasonably sit within the role of FOH / coordinator
Be a liaison point between Bombshell Hair and third party’s take holders
Organize Bombshell Hair and subsidiary enterprise’s events
Support the Team Leader and Senior Stylists to ensure the cleaning roster is complied with and the delegation and oversight of salon tasks to all staff
Enter and monitor stock records / use / wastage for reporting to salon Director and Team Leader
Order and receive inventory (retail and professional) for Bombshell Hair and subsidiary ventures
Undertake inventory stock takes and reconcile system stock levels
Purchase salon and client amenities
Manage the businesses petty cash facility
Foster an environment of excellence, support and take forward ideals and branding of Bombshell Hair
Work within the Policies and Procedures of Bombshell Hair and relevant legislative and Award requirements
Facilitate onboarding for new staff and contract management
Experience:
Worked extensively in customer service and / or retail industry (hair and beauty preferred)
Worked with Timely or another hairdressing sales, appointment and inventory system is desirable
Worked extensively with social media design and management
Previous rostering / appointment management is desirable
Knowledge of salon hair services and products / interest in hair and beauty industry is desirable
Previous experience as a receptionist, hairdresser, beauty industry or in a customer service role is a must
