About the role

As the Retail Manager for Pool Pro Wynnum Manly, you will working for a family based company and be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of our Wynnum West store. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, managing a team of customer service-oriented staff and service staff, and ensuring our store meets or exceeds operational and financial targets.

What you'll be doing

Water testing - advising customers what their pool require

Trouble shooting - finding solutions to customers problems

Lead, coach and motivate a team of Customer Service Associates to deliver exceptional in-store customer experiences

Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including daily invoicing, inventory management, staffing, service scheduling

Develop and implement strategies to maximise sales, profitability and overall store performance

Ensure the store is maintained to the highest standards of visual merchandising and presentation

Liaise with the head office team to implement company policies, procedures and initiatives

Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement

Foster a positive, customer-centric culture within the store

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Retail Manager or in a similar leadership role within the retail industry

Strong operational and financial management skills, with the ability to drive store profitability

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team

Highly organised and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Familiarity with pool retail industry best practices and trends

Must be available to work Saturdays
