Client Description:

The business delivers complex fit-out, refurbishment projects across multiple sectors including (but not limited too) commercial, government, infrastructure services, education, healthcare, light industrial, defence and office / workplace sectors

The leadership team is genuinely supportive and operates with transparency and vision. Backed by long-term client relationships and an expanding project pipeline, they are seeking a commercially sharp, delivery-focused Senior Project Manager or Project Director to help shape the next chapter of their growth.

You’ll join a tightly knit, values-led culture with a strong emphasis on quality project outcomes, long-term relationships, and empowering team members to do their best work.

Role Responsibilities:

Lead and deliver multiple fit-out, refurbishment, and new build projects ranging from $500k – $20Mil+

Oversee programs, budgets, contracts, subcontractors, and project resources with full accountability

Collaborate closely with directors, estimators, and site teams on design, cost strategy, and delivery

Represent the business confidently with clients, consultants, authorities, and contractors

Guide and mentor PM’s, CA’s and Site Managers, contributing to a cohesive, empowered team

Work closely with pre-construction to support methodology and technical writing for tenders

Ensure quality, compliance, and safe delivery across all facets of project operations

Role Requirements:

6–10+ years' experience delivering commercial fit-out or new build projects valued $500k - $20Mil+

Strong technical understanding of construction methodologies, buildability, and sequencing

Ideally started from a site-based background (but not a must have)

Ability to lead independently, make commercial decisions, and own delivery outcomes

Confident communicator with high EQ, able to liaise with clients and consultants effectively

Construction Management degree or similar tertiary qualification

Ambition to grow within the business and help scale operations alongside the leadership team
