Broome Whale Watching is an award-winning marine-based tourism business offering whale watching and dolphin interaction tours, in Broome. Our team offers exceptional customer service whilst delivering memorable wildlife experiences. Winners of the Broome Small Business Awards, our team is looking for a candidate who can aid us in the continuous delivery of quality wildlife experiences, oversee the training of staff and day to day operations as a team leader . We are seeking a passionate individual to work in a supportive, family-owned and operated business. The successful candidate is someone who will contribute to the positive work culture, guiding and supporting a team of 10 crew and is great at making new friends. With some boating experience, food preparation, quality customer service skills in hospitality, and an interest in learning about the diverse ecosystems of the Kimberley coastline, this seasonal job could be the adventure you are looking for! Qualifications & experience

ESSENTIAL Fluent in English. • ESSENTIAL - Holds a current manual license. • Holds an Approved Managers certificate or willing to obtain . • Food preparation experience. • Hospitality experience. • Must have the ability to interact with guests in a professional, fun, and friendly manner. • Have an eye for detail.

Tasks & responsibilities

This position is both a land and sea-based role involving a variety of responsibilities including providing the training of staff, cruise attendant tasks, catering, ticket sales, bus driving . The successful candidate must be willing to work a flexible roster including weekends.
