About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting individuals with complex needs to enhance their quality of life. Your ability to communicate effectively in English and your experience in the field will ensure the delivery of exceptional care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

Build strong, trusting relationships with the individual by providing consistent and empathetic support.

Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household activities, while promoting independence.

Facilitate engagement in community activities and social interactions.

Provide emotional support and implement positive behavior strategies.

Accurately document daily activities, progress, and any incidents.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored support.

About You

We’re looking for individuals who are:

Experienced: You have proven experience as a Disability Support Worker or in a related role.

Strong Communicators: Your English communication skills are clear, professional, and empathetic, enabling you to effectively connect with individuals and teams.

Caring and Compassionate: You have a genuine passion for supporting individuals to achieve their goals.

Professional and Reliable: You maintain boundaries and deliver consistent, high-quality care.

Calm and Adaptable: You can respond effectively to challenging situations.

We are seeking individuals who are available for sleepover shifts and outside of school hours. Please do not apply if you do not have availability for these times

Essential Criteria:

Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).

Driver’s license and reliable transport (preferred).

Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends if required.

Own Reliable Vehicle Fully insured.
