About the Role
This organisation is currently seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to support their new project in Dubbo. More than just providing advice, this role focuses on delivering practical solutions and ensuring effective implementation. By working closely with site teams, the role will be responsible for driving collaboration, enhancing safety awareness, and fostering a positive safety culture.

Duties

• Provide on-site safety support across active construction zones and civil infrastructure works
• Conduct toolbox talks, pre-starts, site inspections, and assist with incident investigations
• Support the implementation of project-specific HSE management plans and SWMS
• Monitor site compliance with WHS legislation and company procedures
• Engage with workers and subcontractors to promote a positive safety culture
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and reporting activities

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a Health and Safety role within construction, civils, or infrastructure
• Ideally prior experience working in a FIFO, or DIDO role
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with frontline workers
• White Card and minimum Cert IV in Work Health and Safety (Diploma highly regarded)
• Knowledge of WHS legislation, risk assessment, and control measures
• Ability to hit the ground running and work independently on-site
