We are currently looking for an Office Administrator / Receptionist personal in our two busy locations
This listed advert is for a candidate that is flexible to be able to work 2 days in the Cairns branch and 3 days in the Smithfield branch on a full time basis, supporting our business.
Volks Centre Cairns and Smithfield is a locally owned business that has been operating and servicing the Cairns region for over 20 years
We are a specialist workshop that carry out servicing and repairing all German car brands
Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, Porsche, Skoda, etc.

Position Overview: As an Office Administrator / Receptionist, you will be crucial part of our team. Some parts of your primary role would include taking bookings from customers via phone calls / emails and assisting with customers requests, supporting the service advisor and taking down any notes that they will later be able to respond to, data entry into computer software to uphold correct stock levels, taking payments via Cash, Eftpos and Bank transactions and supplying invoices, keeping the office area clean and tidy, withholding our top-notch service to our valued customers and ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience for all.
Responsibilities:
To always greet customers warmly and politely.
Build effective customer relationships
Present yourself with a professional manner at all times.
Be able to show empathy and compassion as required
Answering customer enquiries via email, phone and over the counter
Schedule service and repair appointments and any required follow ups.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding service progress and updates.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
Ensure that the office department operates smoothly and efficiently.
Collaborate with service advisor to ensure timely completion of repairs.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Uphold our commitment to excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Book appointments for Services and Mechanical repairs
Preparing invoices
Enter incoming stock
Retain stock levels
Processing credits and warranties.
Assist with regular cyclic and annual branch stock takes
Maintain the showroom to ensure it's clean and presentable.
Qualifications, Attributes or Licenses :-
Knowledge of Automotive parts or automotive experience (preferred)
Face to Face sales and customer service experience (preferred)
Current QLD Driving License.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong attention to detail and be able to work under pressure
Ability to learn
Proficient with computer software and service management systems.
Team player with a positive attitude and problem-solving skills.
You must enjoy customer service and have a desire to work with and support our customers
