The Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to facilitate the delivery of a water and sewage infrastructure projects within the Linear Renewals Team. Our vision will see a fulltime Project Manager embedded within our delivery team, with frequent travel across the state.
The Project Manager will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including our delivery partners, engineers, environmental and safety advisors, suppliers, stakeholders, consultants, and local authorities, to deliver projects on time, within scope and budget, and in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
The Renewals Team has an established framework agreement with Tasmanian based companies and some of the expected Project Manager daily duties may include.
Program planning
Program reporting
Program budgeting
Work Order (contract) creation and issue
Internal stakeholder communications with environmental advisors, engineering, community & operations
Contract management
Provide civil infrastructure advice
Provide safety and quality insights to both onsite operations and received completion documentation

What we're looking for
The ideal candidate will oversee the delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring all activities are aligned with technical specifications, regulatory standards, and client expectations.
Formal tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Project Management, or equivalent relevant competency
Demonstrated experience with civil, electrical or mechanical assets, preferably in the water or other service utility industries
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, budgets, and timelines effectively.
Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.

The Details
This role can be based in either Launceston, Devonport or Hobart and attracts a salary of $124,474 - $138,304 (inclusive of superannuation), negotiable dependent on experience.
