About the Role:

We are a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Chatswood, seeking an experienced Tax & Business Services Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including individuals, companies, trusts, and family groups. You will work closely with our Partners, offering you a unique opportunity for meaningful collaboration and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare Income Tax Returns for individuals, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Prepare Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for various entities, including businesses, demonstrating your attention to detail and thorough understanding of tax laws.

Liaise with Partners on client assignments, providing regular updates on project progress and status.

Assist Partners in delivering expert guidance on Australian compliance issues, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of tax and business regulations.

Skills and Experience:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

an Australian Accounting Degree recognized by the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and/or CPA.

A minimum of 3 years of local experience in Tax & Business Services, with a strong foundation in Australian tax regulations.

Prior experience working with individuals and small to medium enterprises.

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering results on time.

CA/CPA qualification or active pursuit of this credential.

Strong communication skills and a personable approach to building lasting client relationships.
