Support a Growing Mine Camp Operation in WA

Our client is one of Western Australia’s fastest growing mining and civil contractors, delivering crushing, haulage, and mine operations across multiple iron ore projects. As their Wiluna camp expands by an additional 38 rooms, They are now seeking a reliable and experienced Night Chef to join the camp catering team.

About the Role:

You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving meals for night-shift workers and early breakfast service in a camp setting of up to 70 people. Working independently or with minimal supervision during night hours, duties include:

Preparing dinner, late-night meals, and early breakfast items

Operating in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards

Cleaning down kitchen areas and ensuring food storage protocols are followed

Reheating and serving pre-prepped meals as needed

Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and equipment during overnight hours

What We’re Looking For:

Previous FIFO or remote camp cooking experience – essential

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery – highly regarded

Strong food safety and hygiene practices

Ability to work independently and manage overnight meal service

C Class driver’s licence

Able to pass pre-employment medical and DAS

Available for mobilisation by 26 June 2025
