About the role

Geoff Tombs Bulk Haulage P/L is seeking an experienced Tanker Operator to join our team in Dayboro, Queensland. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting bulk materials across our regional road network.

What you'll be doing

Carefully loading, transporting and unloading bulk liquids, using our specialised tanker vehicle.

Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and well-maintained.

Adhering to all relevant road safety regulations and company policies to deliver materials on-time and without incident.

Maintaining detailed trip logs and documentation as required.

Communicating effectively with dispatchers, customers and other team members.

Assisting with general vehicle maintenance and cleaning as needed.

What we're looking for

A current MC driver's licence with a proven safe driving record.

Relevant experience operating tanker or bulk haulage vehicles, preferably in the road transport industry.

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance.

Excellent time management, problem-solving and communication skills.

A commitment to safety and a cooperative, team-oriented approach.

The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
