About Us:

Mecon Construction provides clients with a full suite of design and building services and works closely with commercial property management companies ensuring changes and maintenance schedules are carried out to the highest standards. We are currently seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join the team on a Full-time basis.

The successful applicant will become a valued member of our construction team and will be required to follow all safety policies, job practices and PPE requirements as required.

Roles and responsibilities will include: (not limited to)

Assist with site preparation and general earthworks

Set and lay limestone blocks for retaining walls, fencing, and structures

Operate small plant and hand tools safely and efficiently

Support site clean-up and material handling

Work closely with supervisors to complete jobs on time and to spec

About you:

The successful applicant will be a person that possesses the following skills and attributes:

Experience in earthworks and limestone block laying (essential)

Strong work ethic and a good level of physical fitness

Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team

White Card (Construction Induction)

Reliable transport and valid driver’s licence

Advantageous: Experience with bobcats, excavators, or other machinery

Location: Perth South Metropolitan Area.
