About Hyatt Hotel Canberra - A Park Hyatt Hotel

Hyatt Hotel Canberra is Canberra's first hotel located in the heart of the capital. Our Heritage listed hotel interweaves the hidden mystique of the 1920s with modern Art Deco designs. With 252 rooms and suites, our hotel offers an escape within a heritage-inspired setting. The traditional furniture styles as well as garden and park views are all enhanced with sleek technology.

About the Role

The Overnight Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas within the hotel. Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained to provide guests with a welcoming and pleasant environment.

Some of the responsibilities include:

Regularly check and clean operating equipment

Ensure pantries are well stocked and maintained

Vacuum carpets and stain free

Deep cleaning projects

Clean furniture, fixtures, glasses, mirrors and surfaces

Regular checks of toilets

Refill soap dispensers and toilet paper

Clean lifts

Qualifications

Housekeeping experience preferred.

Ability to work on feet for an extended period of time.

Clear and pleasant communications skills

Ability to work weekdays and public holidays 10pm - 6.00am
