- Permanent full-time position || Base salary $150k - 165k plus super and benefits
- Location: preferably Alexandria NSW with work from home flexibility. Open to Brisbane or Melbourne

About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a B2B Senior Pricing Analyst - Strategic Tender who will be responsible for setting the price for all strategic tender processes (Mining, Aviation and Commercial). This includes providing specific price points and price structures, calculating projected margins and ensuring value is maximised with consideration to relevant market conditions and specific customer traits.
If you are based in Brisbane or Melbourne there will be a requirement to travel once a quarter to our Alexandria Head Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set specific price points for all strategic tender responses for Fuel, Card, and Lubricants tenders
- Provide pricing support to the sales team in customer meetings, when required
- Interpret analysis and models including forward market call model, quote model and market intelligence dashboard
- Conduct competitor analysis and assess value creation for customers
- Provide input to the strategic bid management process and work collaboratively with B2b sales in developing strategic tender response
- Review and input the required price schedules in tender responses and contracts
About you:
The successful applicant will possess a strong commercial acumen preferably with previous background in B2B or Finance.
You have the capability of understanding the impact of each deal across the rest of the business, especially supply chain or similar.
As a problem solver, you will demonstrate the ability to understand key value drivers and price exposure management with the ability to provide advice and recommendation to relevant stakeholders.
As a strong communicator, you will build effective relationships to ensure a high level of collaboration is maintained across the business.
Key skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Finance, Accounting or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Strong Commercial acumen and ability to evaluate commercial opportunities
- Fuel or Commodity industry experience is preferred
- Strong stakeholder relationships
- Good understanding of MS Excel and SAP
- High analytical skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong modelling capability
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
