About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Provide professional, courteous, and efficient customer service to hospital patients and staff by upholding organisational values and code of conduct.
• Manage patient/staff enquiries including confirmation of patient/staff identification, screening submitted prescriptions for validity, retrieving dispensed medicines and advising of prescription wait times.
• Assist with the preparation of prescriptions in line with legislative, PBS and local procedures under the supervision of a pharmacist. This includes the management of up-to-date patient information such as Medicare, concession and safety net details.
