About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to provide advanced clinical support tasks to the RBWH Pharmacy Clinical Trials team under the direct or indirect supervision of a pharmacist. Manage the operational components of the Clinical Trials Pharmacy, including prescription preparation, trial record keeping, clinical support and administrative activities.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Dispensing investigational drugs and maintaining accurate records of drug accountability
- Working collaboratively with Pharmacists, Clinical Trial Coordinators, Investigators and Clinical Trial Sponsors to ensure the timely initiation and the continual smooth management of clinical trials.
- Managing return of investigational products by study participants
- Undertaking duties in the Pharmacy Production Unit, including: manufacturing of sterile products; stock management of hazardous materials, cleaning and maintenance of facilities.
