Your new role

As a Public Facilities Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our public spaces remain spotless and inviting for everyone. This temporary position offers a dynamic rotating roster with both AM and PM shifts, perfect for those who thrive on variety and enjoy a flexible schedule. You will have the opportunity to work in different locations, meet new people, and make a tangible difference in the community every day. Whether you are an early bird or a night owl, this role provides the perfect balance of routine and excitement. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Public area cleaning including litter collection, public toilet cleaning and BBQ cleaning

Street sweeping

Sweeping the city-wide bike way network

Cleaning recovery operations following storms

What you will need to succeed

The perfect candidate will showcase proven reliability, a strong work ethic, and excellent attention to detail. You will thrive in a team setting and be committed to maintaining a safe work environment. To excel in this role, you must be available on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays and meet the following requirements:

Construction White Card (mandatory)

Medium Rigid Drivers Licence (mandatory)

A strong commitment to adhering to safety standards

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

An up-to-date CV detailing your industry experience, along with two recent references to support your application
