About the Role:

Seeking a Laboratory Cleaner based at Carole Park (QLD, 4300) for a 3-month casual full-time role with high possibility of extension. This is a consistent, casual full-time position, Monday through Friday 6am – 2pm.

Duties:

• Clean glassware as per procedures and return laboratory glassware to their location.
• Maintaining clean lab sinks and benches.
• Solvent handling/waste disposal.
• Keeping inventory of broken glassware and cleaning supplies and arranging reorder.
• Must be comfortable lifting up to 10kg.

**Please note this role requires candidates to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening and international police checks.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience working in a GMP facility is highly desirable.
• 1-2 years of domestic and/or commercial cleaning experience.
• Great chemical awareness.
• Previous training and/or qualifications in chemical handling/safety is highly advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Positive attitude to your work and desire to do a great job.
• Current license and own vehicle.
• Must have unlimited work rights – must be able to work 38 hours a week.
