About the Business:

Maxliner Australia is a leading provider of high-quality automotive accessories, specialising in products designed for Australian 4WDs, Utes, and SUVs. As a subsidiary of Vandapac Pty Ltd, a global manufacturer of aftermarket and OEM accessories, Maxliner combines international expertise with a strong local presence. Due to continued growth, we're seeking a hands-on, reliable Accessory Fitter Trade Assistant / Store person to join our busy team.

About the Role:
This dual role involves assisting in the fitting of accessories to vehicles and supporting warehouse operations. It’s perfect for someone mechanically minded with strong organizational skills and a can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the fitting of accessories (e.g., canopies, hard lids, lights, racks, etc.)

Perform basic mechanical and manual tasks under supervision

Pick, pack, and dispatch parts and accessories

Receive incoming goods and manage stock levels

Maintain a clean and safe workshop/store environment

Complete basic paperwork and data entry as required

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a workshop, automotive, or warehousing environment preferred

Mechanically minded with a willingness to learn

Forklift license (or willingness to obtain) is desirable

Current driver's license

Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Positive attitude, punctual, and a team player

The role will develop into a senior position over a period of time for the successful applicant with a supporting team to assist your development.

You will also be required from time to time assist with Retail customer contact within the Perth Showroom and also work alongside the team at trade shows.

Skills and experience

Exceptional attention to detail required.

Knowledge of Logistics systems preferred.

Results-driven with ambition to succeed.

Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.

Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Willingness to learn and desire to grow current skill set.

Liaise with freight companies, suppliers, and clients.

Control and management of inventory and logistics.

Valid Full Australian driver's license.

Current forklift license (or willingness to complete fully funded course).

Basic Knowledge of fitting automotive accessories, including Canopies, Hard Lids, Bedliners and other bolt on products would be advantageous.
