About the role

Serene Mechanical is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Fitters to join our team on a casual basis in our clients workshop based in Bibra Lake WA. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery and equipment used in the mining and civil industry. With a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our client's operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Your Role:

Perform maintenance and rebuilds on a variety of heavy mobile equipment

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on equipment

Provide on-site support and troubleshooting as needed

Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment

Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and compliant manner

Skills/Requirements:

Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter Trade Certificate

Hold a valid C Class Australian driver's licence

White card

Have legal working rights within Australia

Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test

Extensive experience (2+ years)

Strong technical knowledge of heavy machinery and equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
