💰 Salary Package: $75,000 - $100,000

Padman Group is seeking a proactive Service and Repair Officer to join our growing field service team. Based preferably in the Northern NSW or Southern QLD region, this role involves regular travel and is central to providing technical support, repair services, and on-farm guidance for our wide range of irrigation and automation products.

About the Role:

Attend farms to perform repairs across Padman’s product range – including mechanical and automation systems.

Provide on-farm installation advice, support, and training to ensure customers understand and get the most out of their systems.

Troubleshoot issues both remotely and on-site while delivering expert technical guidance.

Deliver detailed service reports following site visits and maintain accurate records in internal systems.

Work closely with our manufacturing teams to support timely and effective solutions.

Regular travel is a key part of this role, often at short notice.

About You:

Hands-on experience in agricultural, maintenance, field service, or trade-based roles.

Strong communication skills with the ability to solve problems in real-time.

On-farm practical problem-solving skills, with the ability to address issues efficiently in a field setting.

Technically capable, with an interest in irrigation or automation systems – if you can set up a garden sprinkler, you can use our automation (training provided).

Confident delivering on-farm training and product demonstrations to customers.

Comfortable working outdoors, travelling regularly, and managing your own workload.

Proficient with computers and service tracking systems.
