Legacy is a not-for-profit organisation. Our aged care facility is dedicated to providing outstanding care to members of our community. We are a 49-bed facility, making us one of the smaller facilities in our area, which allows us to ensure personal and genuine, quality care.

Position Information -

This position is intended to be a on a Permanent basis – hours can be negotiated for the right candidates. Additional shifts may be offered for leave cover.

The shifts will predominantly be on evenings and can include weekend work, however there is possibility for day shifts in support of the Enrolled Nurse team as required.

Key responsibilities will include -

Experience in supporting care teams to provide exceptional care to our residents

Demonstrated skills in assessments, care planning and documentation

Experience in leading various teams and providing effective direction

Sound knowledge of wound & pressure area management and falls prevention strategies

Safe and correct administration of medication

What we require -

Current AHPRA Nursing registration

Display empathy, sensitivity, discretion, and kindness.

Demonstrated ability to operate professionally in a team environment.

Excellent communication skills

Attention to detail

Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and Australian National Aged Care Classification funding model (AN-ACC) desirable

Experience in Aged Care desirable

Available for shift work (including weekends when required)

Evidence of right to work in Australia.
