Green Light Worldwide are partnered with and assisting our client, a global professional services company providing IT consulting and services focused on the Microsoft platform with artificial intelligence, business analytics, cloud, application services, digital transformation, modern workplace, security services, technology and managed services offerings with the need for an Automation Tester with some .Net Software Development experience.

Role Details

• Location/s - Canberra, Brisbane or Melbourne
• Remote Working - 40% Remote 60% Onsite
• End Client - Federal Government Department
• Contract Start - ASAP
• Contract Finish - 30 June 2026 (potential extension also)

Role/Experience Requirements

• Work as a developer to develop and support applications using .NET, C#, UI development using Angular to enable the Department's Digital Identity Services projects.
• Required to carry out automation testing - Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using SpecFlow.
• Experience working with application security and identity management, preferably with experience relating to OpenID and JWTs.
• Understanding of SOLID principles, the HTTP protocol, REST API, microservice patterns, T-SQL and NodeJS.
• Participate in the development lifecycle, which may include analysis, design, building, testing, pair-programming, code-reviews, documenting, and maintenance.
• Experience with source code management (Git).
• Contribute to Technical Documentation under the Tech Lead and Architects guidance.
• Critical evaluation of technology and tools and provide recommendations to be actioned.
• Experience in selenium web driver along with C#.
• Proficiency in writing reusable functions and test scripts.
• Experience with automation web UI tests using multiple browsers.
• Experience with API testing - backend using Rest sharp and postman.
• Knowledge of bug raising and tracking using test management tools.
• Able to run Automation regression suites.
