We are currently seeking applications for multiple Cyber Security positions at ASO5 & ASO6 classification levels to join the Office of the Chief Information Officer at the Department of Treasury and Finance for a period up to 2 years.
Remuneration:
ASO5 - Salary Range $85,790 p.a. - $95,413 p.a.
ASO6 - Salary Range $98,478 p.a. - $104,165 p.a.
About the opportunity:
The Office of the Chief Information Officer is seeking experienced Cyber Security professionals to assist with the secure implementation of systems from concept through to operations. The incumbent will apply their professional expertise to ensure appropriate security controls are incorporated into products and service designs for the across government security and performance logging solution. The roles will also assist in the continued improvement of the cyber security capabilities of the Cyber Security Directorate in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), including supporting the identification and delivery of key security initiatives to continually enhance the SA Government's cyber security posture.
About you:
To be successful in the ASO5 Cyber Security Analyst role you will:
Contribute to the management the across government Cyber Security Incident Reporting Scheme including conducting reviews of cyber incidents to analyse their impact on government information security policy.
Provide advice to agencies and suppliers in relation to cyber incidents, emergency management, and cyber crisis management.
Contribute to the development of strategic, operational and tactical threat and intelligence products for a range of stakeholders.
Coordinate with other state and commonwealth government agencies when required in order to report and review cyber security incidents.

To be successful in the ASO6 Senior Cyber Security Engineer role you will:
Maintain a high-level understanding and knowledge base of relevant tools, emerging technologies and the opportunities and risks they provide.
Actively engage and communicate with other key state and commonwealth government agencies when required to enable complex integrations of various cyber security technologies.
Provide technical advice and support to other cyber security professionals in relation to information products, such as log data, that will enhance outcomes.
Ability to design, develop, document, and implement processes, procedures, guidelines, and solutions.
