About the role

Carlingford Foot Clinic is seeking a qualified and experienced Podiatrist to join our team on a part-time contract basis. As a Podiatrist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive foot and ankle care to our patients in the Carlingford, NSW area.

What you'll be doing

Conduct thorough examinations and assessments to diagnose and treat a wide range of podiatric conditions

Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to address patients' needs

Perform a variety of podiatric procedures, including but not limited to routine foot care, nail treatments, and minor surgical interventions i.e. treating ingrown, Corn and Wart removal, partial nail surgery and above and all Bio Assessment and orthotics

Provide patient education on proper foot hygiene, footwear selection, and preventative care

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care. We have Physiotherapist and Chiropractor working as a team.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Must have working with children check. We do see lot's of kids.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or higher in Podiatry

Current registration with AHPRA

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Podiatrist, preferably in a private clinical setting

Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to provide comprehensive foot and ankle care

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals

Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest podiatric practices and techniques

Flexible schedule to accommodate part-time hours

Part-time position requiring 2 days per week preferred days Friday and Saturday but we can be flexible around specific days/hours

Current professional indemnity insurance coverage as required by AHPRA registration standards
