Seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team as a practice nurse in the treatment room.

Full-time position offered, with an initial probation period of 6 months no weekends required.

• General Practice nursing experience is highly desirable
• Medical Director/ Pracsoft program

Your role will include but is not limited to :

• Patient assessments, including updating the patient file, taking measurements and vital signs
• Sending recalls and reminders for prevention activities or bringing patients back into the clinic for review or to discuss test results with the doctors
• Stock control and ordering supplies
• Immunisations which can be part of the national immunisation program and travel vaccines
• Providing wound care services
• Assisting GPs with procedures
• Helping to coordinate patient referrals with other providers
• Providing patient education on a range of different topics
• Supporting patients with chronic disease management by helping create management plans and monitoring progress towards their health goals
• Help the practice with the different accreditation activities
• Be involved in clinical discussions and contribute ideas towards improving the quality of practice services
• Equipment sterilisation
• Assisting the practice in successful completion of Accreditation
