ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER – NAGA SOUTHBANK

Full Time / Starting July/Salary from 85k neg

Naga Thai is opening its doors in Southbank this July and are looking for a smart, capable Assistant General Manager to help lead the charge – and eventually run a restaurant of their own.

This is a big opportunity for someone ready to move into a General Manager position. You’ll be working closely with our General Manager and ownership team to open and operate a dynamic, modern Thai restaurant that is set to become one of Southbank’s go-to dining spots.

If you have already run a successful floor team and want to take on more responsibility, more growth and more leadership – this is your moment!

THE ROLE

You will be across every part of the business including

- Supporting the GM in daily operations and decision making

- Helping lead the opening of the restaurant and building the team

- Managing rosters, food and labour costs, and takeaway trade

- Keeping the guest experience sharp and service flowing smoothly

- Understanding and working with P&L reports

- Contributing to marketing and promotional ideas

- Stepping up as the future GM of the next Naga Thai opening in November

What we are looking for

You have worked in a similar role and are ready to level up. You have a proven record of leading high performing teams, know how to balance the floor with numbers, and think two steps ahead. You are confident, switched on and understand that running a restaurant takes both precision and personality.

You will also need

- Solid FOH leadership experience

- Great people and communication skills

- A head for systems, structure and improving performance

- Bonus points for wine knowledge, takeaway experience and a familiarity with Asian cuisine
