The Opportunity
As a Policy Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving evidence-based policies and strategies to enhance the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Policy Development: Analyse trends, challenges, and opportunities to develop high-quality policy papers, briefs, and submissions that align with organisational objectives.
• Research and Evidence: Lead research initiatives, critically analysing literature, policy documents, and data to provide evidence-based insights for policy development.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, government agencies, and NGOs, to gather insights and foster consensus.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and briefings that clearly communicate policy positions and research findings to inform decision-making.
• Project Management: Plan, manage, and deliver projects from inception to evaluation, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and timely completion.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay informed of emerging trends and best practices to enhance
