Trend Group is seeking an experienced Final Trim Grader Operator to join our team on a casual basis in Melbourne, VIC.

As a Grader Operator, you will play a vital role in our construction projects, using specialised machinery to shape and grade terrain to precise specifications.

What you'll be doing

Operate grading equipment safely and efficiently to prepare and maintain construction sites

Final trim operations using UTS for enhanced grading accuracy and efficiency

Read and interpret site plans, blueprints and grade stakes to ensure accurate grading and leveling

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to keep it in optimal working condition

Collaborate with the wider construction team to coordinate site preparation activities

Monitor site conditions and report any issues or concerns to project managers

Comply with all health, safety and environmental regulations on the worksite

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Grader Operator in the construction industry with final trim experience

Formal qualification in operating grading equipment, preferably coded RII for national standard (e.g. RIIMPO310F Conduct grader operations)

Proficiency in using UTS

Experienced with Trimble technology

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret site plans, blueprints and grade stakes

Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with routine equipment maintenance

Commitment to working safely and following all site procedures

Rail Industry Worker (RIW) profile preferable
