Workfast is looking for Excavator Operators (Multi Ticketed) for an immediate start with a temp to perm opportunity at the Quarry in Wollert, VIC

• $44.25 per hour plus penalties (Day Shift rate)
• Day and Afternoon Shift available
• Saturday work available
• Immediate start!!

Location: Wollert, VIC
Hours: Up to 10 hours per day
Payrate: $44.25 p/hr + OT and Super (Day Shift Rate)

You will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating excavators to load raw materials into crushers and trucks, strip overburden, maintain quarry benches, and feed crushing plants. The role also involves basic machine maintenance, ensuring work areas are safe and clean, and supporting the production team while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.

What you need

• Excavator ticket (multi ticketed operator is advantageous)
• Experience operating up to 70T Excavators
• 2+ years experience in similar role
• Quarry experience is preferred
• Construction White Card
• Ability to pass medical
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
• Sales and face loading

What you will be doing

• Loading hoppers with materials and performing general
  yard cleaning duties
• Monitoring all plant and equipment, scheduling & conducting maintenance as required
• Managing maintenance & production tasks, which includes some level of manual handling
