Your responsibilities
• Proactively identify and lead economic development initiatives
• Analyse trends and develop proposals to support policy development relevant to regional services.
• Develop effective relationships with industry, all levels of government, peak industry bodies and other key stakeholders, to support delivery of regional outcomes. of Government.
• Represent the department at meetings and industry events and on committees.
• Provide briefings, submissions, reports and other documentation as required.
• Assist other team members and contribute to team outcomes.

Your team
We want you to be a part of a team that is making a difference by leading industry development and regional programs, aligned to the Department's strategic plan. The regional teams engage with regional stakeholders and works with regional economic development partners to support and advocate for the strategic delivery of regional economic priorities. They lead place-based developments and economic and industry strategies.
