The opportunity
IFYS has a new and exciting opportunity for an Administrative and Data Support Officer to join the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay Zero Project, which is a collaborative initiative between local health services and housing networks to improve community health outcomes and end homelessness.
Reporting to the Project Officer, you will be responsible for providing efficient administrative and data support to the Advance to Zero initiative across the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay regions. The role involves maintaining accurate records, engaging with stakeholders, coordinating training, and producing engaging visual reports and materials.
What’s on offer?
- Part-time contract for 12 months
- 60 hours per fortnight, work any four days Monday to Friday (with Monday as a required workday)
- Based in Maroochydore, servicing the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay regions
- $73,795 base per annum pro rata + superannuation

Key responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate administrative support to the Project Officer
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the CSnet system, including collation of Australian Homelessness Vulnerability Triage Tool (AHVTT) results
- Manage three (3) email inboxes for the project, triaging and responding to all enquires in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor AHVTT and CSnet training needs, updating the training calendar and assisting in training session coordination for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in preparation of monthly and ad hoc data reports, agendas, taking minutes, producing presentations, and internal and external communications
- Design engaging infographics, communication materials, and reports using Canva and Microsoft Suite
Requirements for the role
- Demonstrated experience in a similar project support and administrative role
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good general IT skills, and a high level of computer literacy
- Proven ability to use Canva or similar platforms for visual content creation
Must hold or be willing to obtain if successful
- Valid Queensland driver's license with no restrictions
- QLD Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card)
- Licensed Care Suitability Check (LCS2)
- National Crime Check (IFYS will complete a new check through our systems)
