Tecside is proud to be partnering with a leading Tier 1, Australian Electrical and Engineering Contractor, providing maintenance and commissioning support for projects at BHP's Mining Area C site in Western Australia.

We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Electricians who are BHP Inducted to support these works. This role offers competitive pay rates, paid flights from any Australian capital city and the opportunity to work on a high-profile project with a reputable industry leader.

Project Scope

Electricians will be responsible for the removal and installation of 6.6kV MCC switchboards within site substations, including associated cabling, terminations, and commissioning works. This project is part of a critical shutdown campaign with multiple crews operating across various rosters.

Project Information

• Flights covered from any major Australian city (Point of Hire: Perth)
• Accommodation and meals provided
• Candidates MUST be BHP inducted

Duration & Roster

• Works are scheduled between 26 July - 16 August 2025
• Multiple shift options: Day and Night Shifts available
• Each phase of work is scheduled to span approximately 9 to 10 days
• 12-hour shifts, including paid lunch breaks
  
  

Remuneration

• $80.00 per hour - Day Shift (Flat Rate)
• $90.00 per hour - Night Shift (Flat Rate)
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• BHP Inducted
• Current and unrestricted WA Electrical Licence
• Recognised Electrical Trade Certificate
• Valid CPR/LVR Certificate (issued within the past 12 months)
• Construction White Card
• Current Driver's Licence
• Minimum 12 months FIFO or mining experience (preferred)
• Full Australian working rights
