We’re looking for a Mid–Senior hands-on Software Engineer to join Enov8, an Australian software company building smart, scalable tools for managing enterprise IT environments and data. This is a hands-on role within a tight-knit, engineering-led team that values clean code, pragmatic problem-solving, and smart automation. You'll help design and deliver the platforms and services that power complex delivery landscapes for some of the world’s largest organisations.

What you’ll be doing

Lead & mentor – drive code reviews, pair-programming and onboard new devs.

Build and enhance internal Python (Flask) & PHP services and REST APIs.

Utlise SQLAlchemy and write efficient SQL across multiple DBs.

Own CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions or Jenkins.

Package & deploy with Docker on AWS (EC2, S3, etc.).

Automate everything with Bash and Linux tools on RHEL/Ubuntu.

Champion unit tests (Pytest), QA processes and smooth release cycles.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience

Confidence with:

Python (Flask, Pytest, SQLAlchemy)

Bash scripting / Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)

SQL across multiple relational databases

REST APIs

Git version control

Docker

AWS (EC2, S3, etc.)

CI/CD with Jenkins or GitHub Actions

Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

Bonus: experience mentoring or helping onboard new developers!
