My client is a modern boutique advisory firm seeking a new addition to their growing team established 3 years ago. Leveraging their many years of experience from large international accounting and advisory organisations, this firm goes beyond crunching numbers as they service their clients with a wholistic approach. Clients range from start-ups, SMEs, large corporates, financial services to international subsidiaries.

You’ll be providing strategic CFO/Business Advisory, Accounting & Tax compliance and M&A/Corporate Advisory Services. Some responsibilities include:

Prepare monthly management reports and financials to board of directors including cashflow, profit and loss, balance sheet and project costing reports

Monthly accounting and year end compliance

Streamline and optimise financial processes enhancing workflow and efficiency

Due diligence assignments involved with buy and sell side of M&A, preparing proposals and other related transaction advisory duties

Supervisor and mentor junior staff

Maintaining strong client relationships

Applicants:

3 years experience or more in business services/tax in an Australian accounting firm

CA/CPA qualified or working towards

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to take responsibility of tasks and work in a team

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Experience or interest in developing advisory skills
