The Market Operations team is the engine room behind the bank's Institutional Banking and Markets business. From Sydney, this team keeps everything moving - making sure trades are processed, risks are managed, and systems are running smoothly across a wide range of products like FX, bonds, and derivatives.

A Bit About your Team

Think fast-paced, collaborative, and always switched on. This team is behind every successful market trade - working closely with traders, tech teams, risk and compliance to get things done right the first time. Whether it's trade matching, settlement, or regulatory reporting, this crew keeps the wheels turning and the business moving.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day looks a little different, but here's some examples:

• Making sure trades are matched, confirmed, and settled accurately and on time

• Solving problems when things don't quite go to plan (you'll be a go-to for finding fixes fast)

• Collaborating with internal teams to improve processes and drive automation

• Keeping an eye on risk and making sure everything meets regulatory standards

• Playing a key role in projects that make the operations world smoother, smarter, and more efficient

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, values precision, and likes to work behind the scenes to make a big difference.

What You Bring

• Experience in market operations or a solid understanding of how the trade lifecycle works
