Position Summary

We’re looking for a motivated Casual Kitchen Hand to support our kitchen team by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with basic food preparation, and upholding hygiene standards in a busy, high-energy kitchen environment surrounded by natural rainforest beauty.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and all kitchen surfaces

Maintain cleanliness of floors, workspaces, and storage areas, keeping them free of hazards and obstructions

Operate kitchen cleaning equipment safely and efficiently

Assist chefs with food preparation tasks as required

Dispose of rubbish and recycling responsibly

Restock kitchen supplies and ensure storage areas are tidy

Follow food safety, hygiene, and OH&S procedures

Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to support smooth service flow

About You

Excellent customer service attitude

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Professional presentation and grooming at all times

Flexible, resourceful, and willing to learn

Previous experience highly regarded

Availability to work weekends and evenings

Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player

Requirements

Valid driver’s licence required (role involves driving a buggy or vehicle around the property).

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding kitchen environment

Working Conditions
