The Company:

Our client is a leading manufacturer in the food and beverage industry mainly working with in food manufacturing and pet food products. Based in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide this company directly works with the major retailers nationwide and also services global markets. They are an Australian company with over 80 years experience in their sector

About the role:

You will be reporting directly to the engineering manager and your responsibilities will include:

• Afternoon shift 2pm-10pm
• Preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance on machinery (previous experience is a necessity)
• Welding of plant equipment - mainly stainless steel experience required
• Currently one fitter on the afternoon shift and you will join in addition

Your background and key skills/certifications:

• Trade qualified mechanical fitter (Certificate III or equivalent)
• Strong fault finding and breakdown response capability
• Previous experience of maintenance/repairs in fast paced food or FMCG environments
• Proficient welding experience
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within team environment

What’s on offer:

• Salary of $90,000-$100,000 + 15% afternoon shift loading + super
